We are to always seek God’s word in prayer; yes theirs times when other believers can be a voice spoken from God.
First and foremost is God ~ he is always there if we just silence ourselves and take notice. He speaks to us in many ways ~ feelings, a word, a dream, a vision, a person, a song ~ many ways if we take notice.
When it hurts or even makes us angry (upset) its honest conviction from God. Learning to pay attention with our hearts is a difficult thing, and that’s what makes our heart feel like it’s hurting.
Feeling of Joy in our heart is the awe-inspiring Love given too us by just being a child of God.
Truth yes truth can hurt, and that’s a good thing, just like Love yes love can put right. We are being spoken to from God and not listening.
We can not just give a portion of our life to God, and continue the sense of self, this is just misleading truth given out by the devil – we need to cry out for the Lord when these feelings creep in.
